Shae Golden is one motivated young lady. She graduated from FHS in her junior year at the age of 17 and is not taking time off. She will be starting college at Bluffton with a double major in Social Work and Psychology. She wants to help autistic children become more inclusive in society and to help remove the stigma of the illness. We met her at Donnell Middle school where she was helping run a science camp. She plays softball and is a volunteer foster family for pets from the Humane Society. She advises her science students to “Believe in your self and never give up hope.” Her mentor was her English teacher Rachel Haas of FHS and her Mom is her Best Friend.
